Traditional Undergraduate

There are dozens of scholarships available to help you pay for college. Below is a list of the best scholarship and grant opportunities that are currently available. If you’re an international student, you can learn more about our International Scholarship. Private scholarships are also available with new ones becoming available often.

Indiana Tech Presidential Scholarship

Indiana Tech values community leaders and would like to recognize students who exhibit leadership potential while demonstrating the core values of the university. The Presidential Scholarship will recognize students for their achievements and encourage them to grow their leadership abilities.

This is a full tuition scholarship.  It is renewable for up to a total of eight semesters to help you achieve your first baccalaureate degree.

Ideal candidates will show concrete examples of how they have led within their communities. Candidates should have an attitude of continuous improvement and seek to improve their leadership abilities while helping others. To encourage this, the university will require recipients of this scholarship to complete annual leadership projects within the campus or local community.

In selecting recipients of the Presidential Scholarship, preference may be given to candidates who have established contributions within the Fort Wayne community, especially within the East Central neighborhood.

Please be sure to read the application process and rules.

Recommended selection criteria

For incoming freshmen:

  • 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 point scale)
  • 1170 SAT (combined math and critical reading) or 24 ACT composite
  • Acceptance to Indiana Tech

For transfer students:

raise.me

Indiana Tech has partnered with Raise.me, a new way to earn money for college. You can begin earning micro-scholarships based on your personal achievements in school and life as early as 9th grade. Their mission is to “expand access to higher education so that every student has a shot at the American Dream.”

Although Raise.me offers a unique and engaging way to earn micro-scholarships, each accepted student at Tech is also offered an Achievement Award ranging from $2,500 – $13,000 based on the individual’s GPA and ACT/SAT test score. It is important to note that the micro-scholarships earned through Raise.me DO NOT stack with the Achievement Award. Students will receive whichever offer provides the most financial aid.

Visit the raise.me website for more information on how to get started.
